Darwens Golf Club's clubhouse provides an ideal setting for celebrations such as birthdays, private parties, retirements or any other events.

The large clubhouse can facilitate a 150 people giving you the ability to push the boat out and invite family, friends and other colleagues.
There is a selection of offers available for your dining choices to suite all taste and requirements, (check dining section for function menu) all prepared to an excellent standard. The club has in the past been decorated to an excellent standard at functions, giving you an excellent reason to have a theme or maybe just some banners interior and exterior. If you require a disc jockey we may recommend some previous dj’s who excelled providing an eclectic mix of rock, pop, dance, country, etc while playing some old favourites to suite anybodies needs.

N.B 18th & 21st birthdays require £100 bond, refundable providing no damage has been caused. We would ask that you do not use small table confetti.

Catering arrangements to be made with the Darwen Golf Club caterer.
No outside caterers to be used, no own food or drink to be consumed in the clubhouse. Full payment for catering to be at least a week before the function.>

Even though we are a private club, it is still an offence in law for anyone under the age of 18 to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises, we expect the organiser to police the situation and take the appropriate action, this will avoid any conflicts as the bar staff have orders to refuse anyone they consider to be under age unless I.D can be provided.
Under no circumstances must your function be advertised on the internet or other media, without permission, contravention will result in immediate cancellation.

Please note, as a private members club, any member is allowed to use the bar whilst it is open

Darwen golf club has an idyllic meeting room overlooking putting green that can comfortably facilitate 14 people. Equipped with a chart, ready for any projector use, within a private setting to ensure your privacy. If required drinks and bar snacks will be available (check opening times) for a half time or post meeting break.
